Alan Vázquez

Plastic artist

The plastic artist, Alan Vázquez, presents in this tenth edition of #FestOcéanos, a couple of sculptures with recycled materials inspired by representative species of two ecosystems in Mexico, such as the beaches of the Mexican Caribbean (State of Quintana Roo) and the Xochimilco Aquifer in CDMX.

The main characters of the exhibition are a charismatic sea turtle, an imposing giant jellyfish and three friendly axolotls.
The artist Alan Vázquez has been characterized, nationally and internationally, for creating works with recycled materials, creating aesthetic proposals and meanings from materials that, in another context, contaminate visually, physically and chemically.

Currently his works are in permanent exhibition in the states of Tabasco, Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Sonora, Chiapas, State of Mexico and Mexico City. Overseas in countries such as Japan, the United States of America, South Korea and Costa Rica.
